If you become a mother, there are already so many rules that you supposedly have to follow when raising the child. It is therefore understandable that you do not inform every detail. It is important to know: when does your child first have to go to the dentist?
For the first time to the dentist
Many parents wait until their child is two or three years before they go to the dentist for the first time. Now that probably won't do much harm, but if it's up to the experts, a child will come by much earlier. New research from the University of Michigan shows that only thirty percent of parents come at the right time: when their child is one year old.
Not up to date
Of the eight hundred parents who participated in the study, more than half were not informed about the first visit to the dentist. They therefore had no idea that it would be advisable to start an inspection from one year. Many thought it was enough to look at the children's teeth. Did it look good? Then probably nothing was wrong.
