1. Limit your eating moments
If you eat and / or drink up to 7 times a day, you help your teeth. As soon as you eat or drink something (excluding water and tea without sugar), bacteria convert it into acid that affects your teeth. You prevent the damage by brushing properly, but eating and drinking throughout the day makes it very difficult to keep a healthy mouth.
2. Flossing, brushing and toothpicks
It is not a hobby for most people … but flossing and toothpicks really help! Tip: always keep three packages of dental floss or toothpicks in stock. One is for the dining table, one for work, and one in your bag for traveling. So you always have something at hand!
You prefer to brush twice a day: in the evening before going to sleep and in the morning.
3. Fewer soft drinks, fruit juices and sweets
Fruit is healthy all day long? Unfortunately, that's not true. Just like soft drinks and sweets, fruit can attack your teeth due to its acids and sugars. This can even result in dental erosion. So preferably drink sugar-free drinks (such as tea and water) and limit your candy moments to twice a day.
